Nob ha programmato per settembre un ricco numero di incontri con i nomi più talentuosi usciti fuori dall'ultima edizione di Pitti Uomo. Presto tutti per voi. Perchè non ne abbiamo parlato prima? Una scelta voluta. Quest'anno abbiamo deciso di assaporare con calma le delizie più prelibate offerte da questa bandita tavola estiva fiorentina, per lasciare ampio spazio ai designer più interessanti. E poi perchè in un mondo dove si divora e digerisce tutto così in fretta, un pizzico di suspense non guasta mai... Sovvertiamo la frenesia del fast fashion, che porta più danni che qualità. A nostro modesto parere.

Quale è la tua ispirazione per la collezione primavera-estate 2011?
Il presupposto è stato dimenticare la moda. Le influenze toccano principalmente il sud, la campagna e Keats.

Qual è il particolare nesso tra le sciarpe e i singoli ritratti?
Io non voglio mostrare persone, né tanto meno avere modelli, belle ragazze o ragazzi. Ogni stagione lavoro con un artista differente e mostrando un ritratto do una mia interpretazione dell’arte. Invece di un modello preferisco esprimermi a modo mio e questi ritratti parlano per me.

Qual è il tuo rapporto con l’Italia?
Sono profondamente legato all’Italia. Mio padre viene dalla Sardegna e mia madre è francese. Di solito mescolo entrambi questi mondi: i cotoni e tessuti francesi con i colori tipicamente italiani.

At the base to forget fashion. The influences mainly concern the South, the countryside and Keats.
Which is the particular link between the neckerchiefs and the portraits?
I do not want to show people or to have models: beautiful women and guys. Every season I have been collaborating with a different artist and showing a painting I give a personal interpretation of the art. Instead of a model I prefer my own way of expression and these paintings speak for me.
What is your relationship with Italy?
I am extremely attached to Italy. My father comes from Sardinia and my mother from France. I usually try to combine these two worlds: French cottons and materials with typical Italian colours.
