Julius F/W 2011-12Dopo che i profeti Rick Owens e Gareth Pugh si sono fatti portavoce di un nuovo credo nella moda, sono nati diversi ordini che cercano la bellezza tra l’asfalto, ispirandosi all’austerità monacale e all’ascetismo. Una “forma mentis” che ha fatto proseliti soprattutto tra i designer giapponesi. Uno di questi è Tatsuro Horikawa, designer di Julius, che nomina la sua collezione autunno-inverno 2011-12 “Halo”, aura, dedicata “ai discepoli dell’Avanguardia che sopravvivono nella città”.

Walter Van Beirendonck F/W 2011-12Walter Van Beirendonck crea una nuova tribù. Una collettività giocosa che aspira allo stato onirico degli sciamani dove tutte le cose sono connesse. Le acconciature e i grandi monili ad anello fanno da antenne e parabole di questo nuovo sentire, e gli abiti più seri si ricoprono di un patchwork di geometrie e stoffe multicolor. Il poncho e i soprabiti psichedelici fanno veramente sognare. Per il designer questa è una promessa e mette la “mano sul cuore”, non a caso il nome della collezione.
